She was the villain in a 1994 PC game that pitted you against a space station that had been overrun by a rogue AI (shodan). The first game scared me damn good, but the second that came around in 1999 was ten times as creepy due to the audio and graphic enhancements. Course the sequel is pretty ugly according to today's standards, but that has no bearing on the psychological effects of playing it.
