What's the saying? "Don't judge a show by its 4Kids dub"? I think this applies to Winx Club.
I hated the show at first. Absolutely despised it. It was like a valley-girl Harry Potter hopped up on Pixy Stix. But after a while I decided to have some forgiveness toward it since it was a victim of the 4Kids chop-shop. Fast forward to a few months later, I located a couple of uncut episodes in English (known mainly as the less annoying "UK Dub"), and I've gained a whole new respect for the show after watching them and realizing how horribly mangled the US version was. All I can say is that I'm actually kinda looking forward to seeing it fansubbed. I know, it's a kids' show. Scoff if you will, I care not! So here's Bloom, in all her hastily-colored glory. I saw the whole first season in the italian version (lucky me, I'm italian) and for me it was the same thing that happend to you,in the beginning I hated them...

Sadly yes, the show was edited like crazy and dumbed-down for the general masses here in the States. It's doubly saddening when you wonder if these companies think our kids are all stupid or something.
That aside though, yes, they totally ruined the show.
Thanks for the fave though. I'm glad you like the drawing.
I really love Layla/Aisha, though Bloom is pretty cool at times.
